A Fruit and Vegetable market was established in the mid 60’s was shifted in 2002. This vacated land and adjoining derelict factories measured 32 Acres was to be converted into a public park.The site is surrounded by dense housing. The Park has been designed as a series of spaces, with axial walkways and landmarks. The spaces comprise of an entrance green, a central fountain, Wooded area, Jogging track, Xeriscape, Courtyard, waterfall, Children’s park, Botanical garden, Seasonal garden and Ladies park.
