Aziz Bhatti Park, originally built in the 1970s, has long fallen into disrepair, the new proposal aims to revitalize the park by introducing a memorial honoring the national war hero after whom it is named, along with a diverse range of spaces for all age groups, the park’s most striking natural feature—the lake—will become the focal point for activities such as boating, a miniature train ride, cycling, and lakeside seating, a central seating spine, designed as a tree-lined longitudinal promenade, will offer views of all major park activities, additional elements, including a cricket ground, outdoor gym, and a farmers’ market, will encourage active participation and community engagement across all ages.
