A World Bank–funded project initiated by the Sindh Government, the park was designed to serve as a shared community asset, located adjacent to both a school and a residential neighborhood, the parking lot was planned to accommodate school traffic in the afternoon while serving park visitors at other times, additional paved space outside the park boundary was allocated for a farmer’s market.
The internal master plan emphasizes areas showcasing indigenous plant species, creating an environment rooted in local ecology, features such as a community vegetable garden, yoga pavilion, walking track, and children’s activity zone were incorporated to encourage wellness, recreation, and social interaction—ultimately fostering a stronger sense of community.
