Construction of the new U.S. Consulate began in 2009, with LAS appointed as the landscape contractor. The original landscape design featured extensive gravel surfaces and drought-resistant plant species, with palms and limited lawn areas incorporated in selected key zones. A wetland system was also installed, utilizing aquatic plants to help purify recycled water.
Over the years, the Consulate has continued to engage landscape services to enhance green spaces and support ongoing landscape maintenance.
